GPAC meeting to review the General Plan Audit prepared by M-Group and City staff. The Sausalito General Plan Update is a targeted update to refine existing objectives, policies, and programs to address the community’s vision and goals over the next 20 years. The General Plan Audit highlights each policy and program in the General Plan. The GPAC is asked to review and provide comments on which programs are complete and what should be examined further through the update process. The Audit begins with an overview of each General Plan Element and related objectives to clarify their role in the General Plan. The core of the Audit is M-Group’s and staff’s assessment of the status of each existing program in all six General Plan Elements. By analyzing the status of each program, the Audit also informs and enables discussion of associated policies and objectives. For each program, a recommendation is provided determining whether the program should be carried forward (possibly with modifications in the General Plan Update), removed, or analyzed further.
